California Cartage Strike Ends, Workers Successfully Return to Work

Workers at California Cartage’s massive warehouse complex at the Port of Los Angeles returned to work on Friday after a historic three-day Unfair Labor Practice strike.   All workers were returned to work and will continue their campaign knowing they are supported by the Los Angeles labor movement and harbor community.  These low-wage, non-union workers took a courageous step for justice, calling on California Cartage to respect them and stop retaliation and intimidation.  They have been fighting for a living wage, a safe workplace, and permanent jobs.
